"Everything has something valuable to market, especially if it's your own product, service or skill."
Steve is an expert in market planning and execution, communication management, strategic business development, and market analysis. The marketing path that brought him to Synergy has included firms in the high tech, construction, real estate, and chemical manufacturing industries. In addition, Steve has also applied his expertise for state government, local agencies, small businesses, start-ups, higher education institutions, and non-for profit organizations.
Early in his career, Steve served as Director at Adam Levin and Associates, Product Manager at Kenan Systems Corporation, and Senior Consultant at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a BA from Cornell University.
Steve gives back to the community as an adjunct professor at John Carroll University, where he teaches marketing and strategy at the graduate and undergraduate levels. In his spare time, he offers students advice on careers and resume writing. More recently, he went door-to-door, encouraging people to vote for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District levy to help elevate the quality of education in city schools. Happily, it passed.
"I solve a lot of computer problems for my co-workers, parents, siblings, children, spouse and friends. They know I "grok" computers and I'm always happy to assist. As a Dad, my kids count on me for everything, including help and guidance—even if they don't want it!
For me a big heart is about making a place a little better than you found it."
