Mr. Mustin is currently a Managing Director in charge of Stafford Snyder, LLC, a Management Consulting firm focused on Strategy, Business Transformation and Mergers & Acquisitions. Previously he served as a Managing Director and the practice lead of BearingPoint’s Strategy & Transformation practice and as M&A solution lead for his practice at A.T. Kearney. While at Ernst & Young, he focused on transformation and strategy in the Health Care industry. Mr. Mustin has a B.A. from Baldwin-Wallace College and an MBA in Strategy/Policy and Organizational Behavior from Case Western Reserve University.
Mr. Mustin has over 20 years of Strategy, Transformation, Mergers & Acquisition, Organization Development and Change Management consulting experience with a number of leading firms, including Ernst & Young, A.T. Kearney, BearingPoint, Mustin Consulting Group and Stafford Snyder. With those firms he has consulted to companies in the healthcare/life sciences, insurance, high tech, and other industries.
Dave believes in lifting organizations up and contributing back to the community, even while he is traveling for his business. This is evidenced by his involvement in his church (Federated Church in Chagrin Falls), where he has served on the Finance committee and currently on the Central Council (Board of Directors). While his son was attending Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills, Dave became active in the Gilmour Entrepreneurial Education Council (GEEC) for the purpose of developing young entrepreneurs in the high school. He did this even though his son was only in kindergarten at the time. He is still currently engaged in the Entrepreneurship classes at Gilmour as an advisor even though his son has left Gilmour Academy.
Dave has been engaged by Weatherhead as an alumni advisor for a three year term beginning in August of 2012. In that role, it is his responsibility to serve as a mentor, guide and advisor to the alumni office while also serving as a voice of the alumni around the world.He has engaged with the Alumni office and is currently working closely with Katie Keane, the Director of Alumni Relations, on building a new Mission statement, objectives and responsibilities for the Alumni Advisor organization. In addition, Dave recently volunteered as a mentor to the students at Weatherhead to support their case style interviewing as they prepared for job interviews.
